Counting Blessings

Wildflowers in the woods at Allerton Park, April 16, 2016.

When I count my blessings,

One of them is you.

May joy light your way,

And love fill your heart.

OMG, what a wonderful way to start my morning! I will keep these lovely images in mind as I go out into my day. Thanks for sharing! I would love to share the one of the wildflowers in the woods. Am thinking I can save the image and then share on FB, giving you credit, of course and mentioning your blog.. Is that okay?

      Hi Zirah 🙂
Thanks for visiting! I am happy this brings happiness into your day. 🙂 Counting my blessings is one of my favorite things to do. There are so many of them. Infinite blessings, in fact. I would be happy to have you share it. 🙂 I haven’t delved into the settings on WordPress so if it doesn’t work, let me know and I will look into it.

Great, hopefully I’ll have time to give it a try in the next couple of days and will let you know if there’s a problem. Each picture would really make a nice art print.

When I was lying in bed last night before going to sleep, I was thinking about what I read in the news yesterday and the things that people were saying and I was wishing I could send some l-o-v-e and comfort and inspiration and joy out into the world. And then, the words drifted through my mind and I thought about the photos I have been working on from the trip to Allerton in April. I decided to save those two posts (one for each day I was there) for winter time when it would be extra happy to see some flowers. It was a very special trip for me: a celebration of my birthday and the spring time. The weather was beautiful and the woods looked like magic in the evening light. I was so happy I felt like I was floating. 🙂

Hi 🙂 I am happy you enjoyed the flowers. 🙂 It was a special couple of days. Everything sparkled. I have two post put together from the two days which I am saving for the winter when there is wind howling between the buildings, snow falling, and I need a reminder of what waits just around the corner in the spring time. 🙂

  6. Very beautiful colours. Some great shots.

Hi 🙂 Thanks for your kind thoughts! I am happy you enjoyed the flowers. I was thinking yesterday while walking around the park bundled up in many layers that it seemed like spring was only a moment ago. 🙂 And here we are; back in the cold again. 🙂 It snowed for the first time this winter a couple of days ago on Sunday morning.
